How Brands Commonly Use Tags
Brands use tags in different ways, depending on their workflows, daily processes, and how they want to connect products with influencers — all to make their Relationships board more insightful and organized.
Here are some common ways brands tag influencers:
1— By conversation status: Brands often tag influencers based on where they are in the collaboration process — such as “Negotiating,” “Contracting,” or “Video in Production.”
These tags help track progress and are usually removed once a stage is completed.
2— By campaign: Experienced brands running multiple campaigns may use tags like “Black Friday” or “Unboxing Feb Campaign” to group influencers by specific initiatives.
Tags like “Feb Shipped” are also used to track logistical progress, such as product shipments.
3— By influencer response: Some brands tag influencers based on their replies or preferences. For example:
“Flat Fee > 300”
“Not Interested in Affiliate”
These tags help teams quickly identify response patterns and tailor future outreach.
What is the “Active” Tag
The “Active” tag is a built-in tag in SARAL that automatically appears once either the influencer or the brand logs a post.
Active = Posted
This tag makes it easy to spot which influencers have already published content.
