Creating & Managing Tags in Influencer Profile

Creating & Managing Tags in Influencer Profile

Tags serve as an effective method for organizing and overseeing clusters within your influencer lists. They also enhance your understanding of influencer specifics by grouping them into clusters within a list or across lists when reviewing your Relationships board.

How to create and assign tags?

To create tags, simply click on an influencer card within your Relationships board. This action will prompt a preview pop-up of the influencer profile, where you can click on the ➕ button. From there, you can either create a new tag by selecting the "Create a new tag" button, naming your tag, and clicking on "create".

Alternatively, you can create and assign a tag in a similar manner by visiting the influencer's complete profile.

Ways our brands like to use Tag

Tags are utilized in various ways by brands, depending on their standard operating procedures (SOPs), daily operational scopes, and desired connections between their products and influencers to enhance their Relationships board view.

Here are some common methods brands use influencers tagging:

  • By conversation status: Some brands add tags based on their conversation statuses with influencers to categorize different groups of people they are engaging with, such as 'negotiating', 'contracting', or 'video in production'. These tags are typically removed once the influencer completes a step.

  • By campaign status: This is particularly common for brands with extensive experience in influencer/affiliate marketing, who have multiple campaigns running within their influencer groups. These brands may tag influencers with campaign-specific tags like 'Black Friday' or 'Unboxing Feb Campaign'. This enables them to retarget influencers who have previously participated in specific campaigns. Additionally, brands may use tags like 'Feb Shipped' to track the shipping status of different campaigns.

  • By influencer response status: Some brands tag influencers based on their responses, using tags like 'Flat fee>300' or 'Not interested in Affiliate'.

What is the “Active” Tag

The ‘Active’ tag is a built-in tag that is triggered once an influencer (or the brand) logs a post into SARAL. Active = Posted 🙂
