If you’re reading this, you’ve likely been struggling with your discount codes leaking online, which is messing up your affiliate program attribution and eating into your margins.
Coupon codes are the go-to method for tracking affiliate and influencer generated sales, but leakage through coupon-sharing tools and sites like Honey, RetailMeNot, and more can turn your tracking into a nightmare! But guess what?
You can finally put an end to this chaos with SARAL’s Dynamic Discount Codes!
Dynamic Discount Codes (DDCs) are designed to protect your margins and ensure accurate affiliate attribution by preventing coupon code leakage.
Here’s how they work:
Randomly generated via link: Each time a customer clicks an affiliate link, a unique code is automatically generated and applied at checkout.
Non-identifiable format: Unlike static codes like ALISON20, DDCs use randomized strings (e.g., GWQNNOHJKS) that are hard to share or guess.
Expiry limits :Each code is time-restricted and expires shortly after it's generated reducing the chance of misuse.
Single-use: Codes are valid for one-time use, preventing repeated redemptions.
It’s a simple 2 step process:
Create a dynamic discount code template in your Preferences > Discount Code Templates and create a new template. Make sure to enable the “Dynamic” option during setup.
Generate a Code When Onboarding an Influencer
When adding a new influencer, simply select your dynamic template. SARAL will automatically generate a unique, single-use code each time a customer purchases through their affiliate link.
Here’s a quick tutorial:
Let's say you’re finally finished with your dynamic discount campaign and want to stop their usage, turning them off is simple:
Go to Settings > General > scroll to the bottom and find Discount Code Templates.
Under Dynamic Codes, click Delete under Actions.
