What is Ratna? What are you paying for? In short, you pay for saving influencers. Once they are in your lists, they are yours. There are no recurring management restrictions. Here’s the full breakdown!
Getting influencer data will cost you
Data is costly and getting data about influencers is going to cost you one way or the other. If you want to send product to 100s of influencers, you need to be willing to invest in getting their contact info.
Now contrast that with using Ratna:
This data is not free for us. We use a complex technical infrastructure to find the influencer’s data for you. Pinging the Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube APIs for information costs us (as a business) money.
So we are not trying to upsell you into spending more with us. Ratna is the most economical option we could come up with to solve for mass-prospecting of influencers.
We give you 300 Ratna each month!
To mitigate this, our base plan comes with 300 Ratna every month for you to use.
300 influencers per month is the minimum necessary volume of influencers to be reaching out to when you start to lock your first 20-30 monthly partnerships. If you’re a new brand worried about any additional flexible costs, you no longer have to worry!
You can take advantage of the bulk search and save 300 influencers each month! Once you grow, you can flexibly buy more as needed or upgrade to our higher plans with more Ratna per unit cost. Check out our Pricing page here.
With Ratna, you only pay for what you get. Nothing more, nothing less.
… but other platforms have “unlimited search”
Yes. They do.
They also charge you $1000’s per month and tie you into an annual contract.
They have the same data costs that we do, but they chose to bake the data cost into their monthly price.
What they don’t tell you is that they actually charge you extra once you hit a certain threshold of influencers saved. If you have to manage more than ~200 influencers, you need to pay them an extra fee EVERY MONTH!
This approach was not brand-friendly. So we made ours flexible.
Some alternatives
With all that said, I fully understand that upgrading to get more Ratna might not be something you’re open to right now.
In such a case, I recommend you hire a VA to find the information for you OR DIY manually. This will cost you in time, but might make sense depending on where you are as a business. You can import an unlimited number of influencers (for free) using the “Import Influencers” button on the top left of your SARAL dashboard.
The best part? SARAL has a free chrome extension that you or your team can use to eliminate copy-pasting and email-finding hassle.
To ensure you pull an influencer’s email address into your SARAL database, we recommend using SARAL’s Discovery and applying the Email Exists filter.
Okay, fine! Where exactly am I charged more?
We charge you 1 Ratna when you save an influencer from search to a list from Discovery or the Chrome Extension Add-on. It costs 1 Ratna to reveal more than 100 influencers per search We charge you 1 Ratna if you want to reveal the detailed demographic and psychographic data for the creator. If you reveal and save, we don’t double-charge you. It’s still just 1 Ratna.
That’s it.
Ratna is just a cost for the search feature. Your free trial comes with 50 bonus Ratna so you can test this out, run an initial campaign, and decide if buying more is worth it!
We do not charge you Ratna to import influencers manually.
We do not have any limits on the number of influencers you can manage.
We do not charge you extra to send emails, ship products, or anything else!
Ratnas Do Not Carry Over
Ratnas do not roll over month to month. After working with over 500 brands and carefully examining conversion rates and success benchmarks, we concluded that a minimum number of outreaches done consistently are necessary for you to get results with influencers.
Influencer marketing relies heavily on volume and word-of-mouth amplification of your brand. Securing dozens of partnerships monthly (depending on your goals) is crucial for driving the impressions needed to achieve high-reach awareness goals and create a halo effect around your brand within different customer communities using influencers.
Since volume is the key determinant of a successful influencer program, not rolling over Ratnas month to month ensures that your minimum outreach volume is met consistently. This gives your team a target to work towards monthly so you use up all the Ratnas possible to get the most results.
Note that any Ratna you buy as a one-time top-up above your monthly quota carries over every month.
