Finding Influencers
Finding influencers using Keywords or Hashtags helps you easily locate top influencers who have an audience of your brand’s core interest groups.
SARAL is a search engine that searches across Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube so you don’t have to manually scroll through these platforms to find influencers.
Any influencer who is present on those social platforms will be found on SARAL.
What do those search intents mean?
Show influencers who talk about: Keyword search. What do your customers talk about? Eg: if you’re a skincare brand, your customers must speak about #acneproblems or #skincareroutine.
Show influencers who mention: Reverse brand search. Which other brands (not necessarily competitors) do your customers buy from? E.g: If you’re a skincare brand, your customers are likely to buy from Lululemon.
Show influencers similar to: Show similar influencers. Do you already know an influencer who would be great for you? Put their username here and it’ll show you more creators like them!
Filtering and Saving Influencers
Once you perform a search on SARAL, you will see a search results screen with all influencers.
You don’t need all of them, so let’s start filtering. Apply some basic filters like your desired follower count (go Nano if you’re just starting) and Location. If you know what you want, feel free to use the other filters like Engagement Rate, Gender, etc.
You will now see a filtered list of creators. From here, you can view their profile by clicking on the profile icon towards the left.
SARAL also shows you the fair fee for the influencer. This is an estimate of a FAIR fee to pay the creator if you were to work with them. This isn’t a fee that they have listed on the platform (remember, we’re a search engine so we don’t have any creators “on the platform”). You can reach out to creators and negotiate or strike commission-only deals too!
The next step is to save the ones you like into a list. Select using the checkboxes on the left, click “Add to List” on the top right, and save into an existing list (or create a new one).
Make it a goal to save at least 50 influencers into a list. Don’t be too picky. The goal is to just build momentum for now.

Crafting a Compelling Creator Offer
We know you want to reach out to creators asap. But take a step back for a moment. Let’s make sure we have something worth offering. An offer so good, they feel stupid rejecting you. This is especially important when you’re a new brand and/or don’t have the budget to pay upfront fees.
The 3 components of a compelling creator offer are: Creator Incentive: This could be free products, commissions, flat fees, charity donations, etc.
Audience Discount: Offer a special discount for their audience which isn’t available anywhere else on the website
Community Perks: Add something only your brand can offer. E.g.: special products pre-launch, swag, regular supply of supplements, etc.

Sending Outreach
In SARAL, there are two ways you can reach out to creators. Email them or DM them. We’ll cover both here.
Email Outreach
We highly recommend email outreach as: It’s scalable + personalize without more time invested on your part
It comes directly from your inbox (and not via our platform)
You can add automated follow-ups for creators who don’t reply
Doing all this via DM is messy and complicated.
To send email outreach, go to Email Drips from the left sidebar. Click on “Create New Campaign”. Select the list you want to send to and the email inbox you want to send it from.
SARAL will auto-write a campaign for you. Edit the email copy based on your creator offer. Replace all the “ALL CAPS” text with what you want. Everything in {{curly_braces}} will be auto-replaced for every influencer.

Connecting your email
Connecting your email inbox is a simple 2 step process within SARAL. Go to Settings > Connected Emails and click on “Connect New Email”. Follow the instructions on-screen to set this up. It will take you no more than 2 minutes to do.

DM outreach
In case you want to give creators another nudge, you can DM them via SARAL. Just go to their profile, click on the “Send DM” button, and send them a DM!
Remember, always keep the main conversation over email. Even if you DM them, get their email so you can email them later (email is legally binding, just in case!)
Managing Conversations (The Relationships Board)
So far you’ve found 50 influencers and reached out to them. Good job! In a day or two, you would start seeing responses from them. These would come directly into your (connect email) inbox and they’d also show up on SARAL.
Navigate to “Relationships” from the left sidebar. When a creator responds, they automatically move to the “In Conversation” stage in your relationships board. A red dot will show up on their profile indicating there is an unread response.
You can click on the card, click “View Full Profile” and view the email conversation on the right hand side. You can respond to them from here. Hover on “Select Template” to select a response from pre-made templates we have built-in for you.
Alternatively, you can respond them via your regular GMail inbox as well. Just make sure you come back to SARAL and do any product shipping, tagging, or take a note about specifics.
Shipping Products & Onboarding Influencers
Creators are responding now, some of them want to work with you. The next obvious step is to send them a free product. You can do that directly from their profile.
On the left, scroll down and you will see “Ship Free Product”. Click on the + icon, search for a product, and ship it out to the influencer. You can copy-paste the address that they share over email (from the right hand side email thread).
Connecting Shopify
To use this shipping feature, you will need to have Shopify connected. This is again a simple 2-minute setup. Go to Settings > Integrations > Shopify and follow the on-screen instructions.
Onboarding Influencers
Once you ship a product, the influencer will automatically move to the “Onboarded” stage on SARAL. This means you now have a successful relationship with them.
In case a creator says no, move them to the “Rejected” column on the relationships board.
Generating Discount Codes & Affiliate Links
You should also give your influencers a special discount code (for their audience) and an affiliate link to track sales. You can do this easily by navigating to “Generate Discount Code” on the left hand side of their profile and clicking on the + icon.
If someone uses the code to buy and/or uses the affiliate link, the sale will be attributed to the influencer.
