This article shares best practices for setting up email connections in SARAL, so you can:
Reach out to as many influencers as you'd like
Maintain authentic, personal communication
Hit SARAL’s stellar 80%–90% open rates
Connecting multiple inboxes is essential if you want to scale your influencer outreach without hurting deliverability. One inbox can typically handle 50–100 emails per day while staying under spam thresholds. So if you're aiming to send hundreds of emails daily, connecting multiple inboxes is the way to go.
Ambitious seeding volumes usually starts at 150+ and can go up to 500+ gifted products each month for fast growing brands.
To figure out how many emails you need to send (your outreach volume), start by setting your seeding goals:
Ask yourself, "How many influencers do I want to gift this month: 50, 100, 500?"
Once you know that number, you can reverse-engineer your outreach needs using the standard 10% outreach-to-onboarding conversion rate (CVR).
Here’s the formula: Outreach Volume = Seeding Goal ÷ CVR
For example:
If your goal is to gift 500 influencers,
And you expect a 10% conversion rate,
You’ll need to reach out to 5,000 influencers.
That’s a lot of emails — so to keep your open rates high and delivery smooth, connect multiple inboxes.
Connecting multiple inboxes to SARAL helps manage your seeding volume effectively. It all comes down to simple math:
Start with your monthly seeding goal and reverse-calculate using a standard 10% outreach-to-onboarding conversion rate.
Example:
Seeding goal = 500 influencers/month
Outreach required = 500 ÷ 10% = 5,000 emails/month
Daily outreach = 5,000 ÷ 21 weekdays ≈ 238 emails/day
Cold email best practices recommend sending 50–100 emails per inbox per day to stay out of spam folders.
To safely send ~238 emails per day, you’ll need:
3 inboxes (if sending ~80 emails/day per inbox)
Or 4 inboxes (for more conservative sending at ~60 emails/day)
If your organizational email is not hosted on Google but on alternative domains such as Outlook, Zoho, Yahoo, Fastmail, or similar platforms, unfortunately, these cannot be integrated with SARAL. These providers currently do not support third-party access required for SARAL’s email sending and tracking features. This prevents them from being linked with SARAL.
What are your options?
Create a personal Gmail account and connect it to SARAL (Quick and simple, but less professional. Best for temporary use.)
Sign up for Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite) Recommended. You’ll get a branded inbox with Gmail’s reliability and full SARAL compatibility.
Recommended: Use Google Workspace with a Branded Domain
We recommend signing up for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) to ensure full compatibility with SARAL.
If your main domain (e.g.skinglow.com) isn’t hosted on Google, consider registering a new domain that stays true to your brand. Here are a few ideas: @skinglowsquad.com or @skinglowpartners.com.
Sign up for a Google Workspace Account here >>.
You can connect a personal Gmail account to SARAL, but it's not recommended for brand communications. Instead, we suggest creating a Google Workspace account that closely matches your brand and using it exclusively for influencer and partnership outreach.
Why Choose Google Workspace?
Emails sent from a Google Workspace account (e.g.you@yourbrand.com) are treated differently from personal Gmail accounts. Influencers are more likely to trust, open, and respond to branded emails — while generic Gmail addresses can often be flagged as spam or ignored altogether.
Using a branded Google Workspace email helps you:
Enhance your credibility
Authenticate your identity as the brand’s representative
Increase your email open and response rates
Reduce the likelihood of your emails being flagged as spam
To make sure your outreach emails actually land in inboxes (and not spam folders), it’s important to set up both the technical foundations and follow best practices.
Technical Setups: These involve authenticator protocols that must be configured on your DNS settings. Key setups include SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
Practical Tips: These encompass proven techniques and best practices such as email warm-up, use clear and relevant subject lines, keep content personalized and avoid spammy language.
