PULSE is SARAL’s social listening tool that tracks, monitors, and analyzes content mentioning your brand. It tracks reels, stories, and posts, and gives you tools to organize that content, request usage rights, and understand how it's performing. PULSE is built around several core areas: Content, Analytics, Usage Rights, Partnership Ads / Whitelisting, Campaigns, Libraries, and Shoppable Feeds.
Before using PULSE, you'll need to connect it to your brand's Instagram account. See our guide on how to setup PULSE for the full walkthrough.
How to Setup PULSE on Your SARAL Account
A step-by-step guide to connecting PULSE to your brand's Instagram account through Meta, so PULSE can start tracking your content automatically.
The Content tab is where every tracked mention of your brand lives, searchable and filterable, and organized into In-SARAL and Organic content, viewable as a grid or a list.
See our guide on the Content tab for the full breakdown of filters and views.
Using the Content Page on PULSE
The Content tab is where all tracked mentions of your brand live. Search, filter, and organize your content by type, mention source, label, or hashtag, and view it in grid or list format.
The Analytics tab turns your tracked content into performance numbers, hero metrics like EMV, Engagement Rate, and SIS, plus breakdowns like Mentions Trend, Content Type Breakdown, Comment Sentiment, and a Top Creators leaderboard.
See our guide on Analytics for a full breakdown of every metric.
Understanding Analytics in PULSE
The Analytics tab turns your tracked content into performance metrics — hero metrics like EMV and Engagement Rate, plus trend, breakdown, and creator leaderboard views.
Request usage rights directly on a tracked post, Reel, or Story. PULSE sends the creator a request on your behalf, with a payment and terms flow attached, so you can get permission to reuse their content without leaving ever leaving SARAL.
See our guide on requesting usage rights for the full walkthrough.
Request Usage Rights in PULSE
How to request permission to reuse a creator's content from PULSE, set the purpose, duration, and incentive, and track every request from sent to accepted or declined.
Partnership Ads, also known as Whitelisting, let you turn a creator's organic content into paid ads, run directly from inside PULSE. You request global partnership access from a creator through SARAL. Once they approve it, you can create and run ads using their content straight from PULSE, without leaving the platform.
See our guide on Partnership Ads for the full breakdown.
Run Partnership Ads via PULSE
How to request partnership ad access from a creator, build and publish an ad using their content, and track ad performance, all from inside PULSE.
Campaigns track a defined list of creators as a group, so you can see how their content is performing as a set rather than individually. This gives you a campaign-by-campaign view of performance instead of having to piece it together post by post.
See our guide on Campaigns for the full breakdown.
Campaigns in PULSE
Track creator content and performance campaign by campaign. Create a campaign from your creator lists, then view its content and analytics in one place.
Libraries let you group tracked content into curated collections for a specific purpose, like a campaign, a product line, or a content type. A single post isn't limited to one library. It can belong to multiple libraries at once, either by manually adding it or through the labels attached to it.
See our guide on Libraries for the full breakdown.
Labels and Libraries in PULSE
Labels help you tag and identify tracked content. Libraries group that content into collections you can browse, download, and share, all built automatically from your labels.
Shoppable Feeds let you embed your tracked UGC directly on your Shopify storefront as a live, updating feed, rather than a static gallery.
See our guide on Shoppable Feeds for the full breakdown.
PULSE puts everything about your brand's organic and program content in one place. Once connected, every tagged, mentioned, or hashtagged post lands in one feed automatically with a whole host of powerful actions on your fingertips.
